Advent and Christmas Happenings!!!

Christmas is almost here! November is gone and Advent has almost begun. The church is buzzing with anticipation! There are a ton of activities planned for the month that the youth are invited to participate in.
Monday November 28th, Hanging of the Greens! 7:00 PM the adults will be helping to decorate the church. Mike and the adult will be working with any children that will be there showing Christmas movies, doing some Christmas crafts, and having some snacks.
December 2 – 4 Sr. High Laurelville Retreat! We will be leaving the church at 5:30 PM, stopping for dinner along the way. We will return to Wexford around 1:30 PM on December 4.
Sunday, December 4 Jr. High will be meeting at Bruce and Libby’s house for pizza and hang out time. There will be no Sr. High youth group.
Wednesday, December 7th The first of our Advent Wednesday Night series. The adults will be watching “The Nativity” while children of the church are invited to come and watch “The Polar Express.” There will be crafts and snacks for the children as well. Pot Luck dinner at 5:30 PM
Friday, December 9th – Christmas Caroling with Wexford Church at Wexford plaza across the street. We will walk over starting at 5:30 PM.
Sunday, December 11th – No Jr. or Sr. High youth group, but we will be having our Family Christmas Dinner and Children’s Christmas Program! Dinner starts at 5:00 PM with the show beginning at 6:30 PM.
Wednesday, December 14th – The second Wednesday of our Advent series finishing up “The Nativity” and “The Polar Express.” Pot Luck dinner begins at 5:30 PM.
Sunday, December 18th – The youth group Christmas party at the church starting at 4:30 PM. Pizza will be served, white elephant gift exchange and a Christmas movie. We will be done around 7:30 PM.
Monday, December 19th – The College Christmas Party at the church beginning at 8:00 PM. Its Monday Night Football and the Steelers are playing! We will be watching the game, having a white elephant gift exchange and having some chicken wings!
Saturday, December 24th CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES! Come and help out with the Luminaries we need help setting them out in the morning around 8 am. and help lighting them before the second service time TBA.
